I didn't exactly care for the Swiffer wipes. Too wet at first and then too dry. So I followed L.L.'s suggestion, using the Black Diamond spritz and a microfiber cloth (which I scissored to size) from Target (5 for 6 bucks). The cloths are thick and lightly nubby, which is perfect for floors. Boy, was the cloth ever dirty after I cleaned the kitchen floor. On both sides too. And that was only 3 days after the Swiffer wipe treatment, which in turn came a few days after the usual sponge mop with detergent-in-water wiped dry with towels. (What a pain.) The cloth, of course, needed some serious cleaning after. All that dirt with no more kids , grandkids, or pets to bring in dirt. But there must have been a lot of accumulation over time.
